The other evening at work I was buzzed. I do afternoon drive at Country 102.5 WKXU in Louisburg (another proud Curtis Media Group Station.) I kept hearing what I perceived to be a boom box, but it wouldn't make sense that the people who gather to fish the two ponds in front of the station would be playing loud music. I checked a couple of times and could not figure out the mystery. Then when I finished my shift and headed out, just as I was sticking my head out the front door, I thought a plane was going to crash into the building and land in pieces in the pond. It didn't of course, and after I checked my underwear, I proceeded home. I forgot that private aircraft prefer to guide on radio towers. It was quite an experience.
